Sign up for a service like onlinejobs.ph, or odesk.com. Most of these services will have a fee to have access to its applicants. For example, onlinejobs.ph charges $49.00 per month.

Spend your time searching through thousands of applicants online or submit an ad to have applicants contact you.

Narrow down your applicants based on over 100 different skills and strengths. Once you have selected your applicants, email them to find out if they are interested.

Once you find someone you feel is qualified to be a helpful addition for your business, send them a video and sample spreadsheet that you have created to train them in the process of finding and recording products.

Ask them to do an 8 hour trial to see how they like the job. Keep track of how well they perform the tasks.

I am Eric Hardwick and I have been selling on Amazon and Ebay since 2009.  I have grown my business from an initial capital investment of $5k to over $2.4 million in sales in 2014 on a combination of both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.  I found that as I was scaling my business I was spending too much time sourcing products to sell on Amazon.  I needed to find a way to still get profitable items without spending all the time on the computer or in retail stores.  My mentor, Jim Cockrum, taught me that the key to growing my business is to spend my time on Creativity, Leadership, and Relationships. At this point I decided that I needed to minimize the tasks that took up the majority of my time and effort, and so I’ve developed a team of VAs that do sourcing, hiring, training, website building, list building, email management and much more for me every day.
